This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes our practices regarding the personal information we collect from the clients of our website located at www.theLarkCompany.com (the "Site "), our mobile application, "Lark" (the "App"), and the life management and personal assistance services for everyday tasks performed on your behalf via your own "Lark" (each a "Lark") (together with the Site and App, the "Service"). When we refer to "we" "us", "our" and "we", we mean Lark Los Angeles, LLC.
What we collect
We get information about you in a range of ways.
Information You Give Us.
To use our Services, we require you to create an account (an "Account"). When you create an Account, and in order to support you, we will collect information from you during the onboarding call and via our Client Profile Form (the "Profile Form"), which is used for us and your Lark to get to know you so we can better serve you. Such information may include:
The Basics: such as your full legal name, preferred first name or nickname, date of birth, gender, and home address(es).
Information About Your Family:
Information About Your Spouse/Partner: full legal name, preferred first name or nickname, date of birth, gender, home address(es), work address(es), and personal and work e-mail address(es).
Information About Your Children: such as photo, full legal name, preferred first name or nickname, date of birth, gender, home address(es), work address(es), and personal and work e-mail address(es).
Information About Your Pets: such as name, date of birth, name, address and information about vet, care providers.
Information about additional household staff, payment information, travel information and preferences, vehicle information and relevant health information and preferences. We also may connect general lifestyle information about you and your family members such as information regarding extracurricular activities (i.e., types, contact information, address information), health club or gym information (i.e., name of personal trainer, account information, contact information, address, preferred classes), dining preferences
The current version of the Profile Form will be provided to you during the Account registration process.
We may require you to provide your account credentials, including users names and passwords, for certain third party accounts ("Third Party Credentials"). We will use your Third Party Credentials solely to provide the services you request. We encourage you to use user names and passwords that are different from Third Party Credentials on those accounts that you do not use with the Service.
If you tell us where you are (e.g., by allowing your mobile device to send us your location), we may store and use that information. If you want to deactivate this feature, you can disable location services on your device. Please contact your carrier for more information.
We may collect your phone number and the unique device id number of the mobile device on which you use the App.
We may request to create third party accounts on your behalf and if you allow us to do so, we will collect any information needed to create such third party account.
When you communicate with us by sending us an email, we will collect and store any information that is contained in your communications with us.
When you participate in one of our surveys, we may collect additional personal information.
When you order products or services through the Service, our third party payment provider will collect payment and billing information in order to process the complete the transaction.
We will collect any additional information from you that we need to fulfill your service requests.
We will collect any information that you provide your Lark.
We collect personal information that you submit to us voluntarily in the course of your use of the Service, such as any additional information you provide in your Profile Form.
If you participate in a contest, sweepstakes or other promotion, we will collect any data you provide in connection with that promotion.
We may also collect personal information at other points in the Service that state that personal information is being collected.
Our Relationship with Social Networking Sites.
We created interfaces that allow you to connect with third party accounts, including social networking sites, such as Facebook (each a "Third Party Account"), through the Service.
We work with the Third Party Account’s application protocol interface (better known as their developer API) in a way that allows you to authorize us to access your account on that Third Party Account on your behalf.
In order to provide this authorization, you will need to log-in to that Third Party Account directly through the Service.
Once authorized by you, the Third Party Account provides us a token that allows the Third Party Account to recognize us when we ask, on your behalf, for access to your account information.
You can revoke our access to any Third Party Account at any time by amending the appropriate settings from within your account settings on the applicable Third Party Account.
Information Automatically Collected.
Generally. When you use the Service, some information is automatically collected. For example, when you use the Service, your geographic location, how you use the Service, information about the type of device you use, your mobile network information, your Open Device Identification Number ("ODIN"), date/time stamps for your visit, your unique device identifier ("UDID"), and your browser type, operating system, Internet Protocol (IP) address, and domain name are all collected.
This information is generally used to help us deliver the most relevant information to you and administer and improve the Service.
In addition, in the event our App crashes on your mobile device, we will receive information about your mobile device model software version and device carrier, which allows us to identify and fix bugs and otherwise improve the performance of our App.
Log Files.
We gather certain information automatically and store it in log files ("Log Files"), including IP addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and click stream data.
We use this information to improve the content of the Service, market research purposes, to communicate information to visitors and to better tailor the Service to our users’ needs.
Pixel Tags.
In addition, we use "Pixel Tags" (also referred to as clear Gifs, Web beacons, or Web bugs). Pixel Tags are tiny graphic images with a unique identifier, similar in function to Cookies, that are used to track online movements of Web users, but are embedded invisibly in Web pages.
Cookies.
We may log information using "Cookies." Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive by a website.
We may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent Cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience through the Service.
This type of information is collected to make the Service more useful to you and to tailor the experience with us to meet your special interests and needs.
Analytics.
We may use third party analytics services (including, but not limited to, Google Analytics) to help analyze how users use the Service.
Analytics services use Cookies to collect information such as how often users open the Service and what features they use in the Service.
We use this information to improve the Service.
The analytics services' ability to use and share information collected by them is restricted by their terms of use and privacy policy, which you should refer to for more information about how these entities use this information, and how you can opt-out of their use of such information.
We may obtain information from other sources and combine that with information we collect through the Service.
Location Information.
If you have enabled location services on your mobile device, we collect your location information.
If you do not want this information collected by us, you can disable location services on your mobile device.
However, location services are required for certain features of the Service and you may not be able to use such features with location services disabled.
Use of Personal Information
We use your personal information to:
Respond to comments, requests and questions;
Provide customer service;
Provide you with and communicate with you about the Service;
Remind you of certain upcoming events and offer to provide services to you in connection with such events;
Help understand your needs and tailor the features and content of the Service to you;

Facilitate the creation of, secure and administer your Account;
Resolve disputes and/or troubleshoot problems;
Develop and improve marketing and advertising for the Service; and

Email Communications
We may periodically send you newsletters and e-mails that promote the use of the Service.
When you receive newsletters or promotional communications from us, you may indicate a preference to stop receiving further communications from us and you will have the opportunity to "opt-out" by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the e-mail you receive or by contacting us directly.

We will do our best to honor your request.
If you completely delete all of your personal information, then your Account may become deactivated.

Please remember that if we have already disclosed some of your personal information to third parties, we cannot access that personal information any longer and cannot force the deletion or modification of any such information by such third parties.
Certain information is necessary in order for us to provide the Service, so if you delete such necessary information you may not be able to use the Service.

Third Party Payment Processor
For online payments payouts, we use the payment services of Stripe (https://stripe.com/). For more information on how payments are handled, or to understand the data security and privacy afforded such information, please refer to https://stripe.com/us/privacy.
How We Respond to Do Not Track Signals
We do not currently respond to "do not track" signals or other mechanisms that might enable consumers to opt out of tracking on the Service.
A Note about Children
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 and children under the age of 13 are not eligible to use the Service.
We do not collect or maintain personal information from children we actually know are under the age of 13.
If a child under 13 submits personal information to us and we learn that the personal information is the personal information of a child under 13, we will take steps to remove the personal information from our databases.

Users Outside of the United States
If you are a non U.S. user of the Service, by using the Service and/or providing us with information, you acknowledge and agree that your personal information may be processed for the purposes identified in this Policy.
In addition, your personal information may be processed or stored in the country in which it was collected and in other countries, including the United States, where laws regarding processing of personal information may be less stringent than the laws in your country. By providing your information, you consent to such transfer.
